Atipo has just launched its new custom display font for the  health and sports wearables company Fitbit . In particular, it will be applied to the brand's smart watch, the Fitbit Blaze, a device aimed at athletes and people connected to new technologies.

This new font has been named Seville and is an exclusive version of his Bariol (2012) font. Bariol is characterized, among other things, by incorporating among its characters a system of icons consistent with the typography , which makes it hybrid and versatile, highly suitable for applications in electronic devices.

To adapt Bariol to this new use , new modulations of it have been created to make it more readable on small screens . This dynamic is necessary in typefaces adapted to the screen, as in the case of San Francisco, developed by Antonio Cavedoni for Apple Inc. San Francisco has two branches: San Francisco and San Francisco Compact depending on whether it is used for large or small screens respectively.
